Some might have turned their backs on Architects when they decided to not stick to their 2009 sound anymore. Well, 'some' do so at their own peril because this band's songwriting is more infectious and engaging than ever. While not crazily creative in structure, When We Were Young is not a standard Architects track by any means, with an unconventionally rocky chorus and straightforwardness. Being one of the few bands keeping my interest in core alive, Architects wrote another killer song. David Fischer
